Summer Session Starting July 12th
Young Innovators will be studying the process of Movie Making with Windows Movie Maker and other softwareInnovators ages 10 thru 13 will attend classes the week of July 12th thru July 16th, 2010 from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. Students need to pick up an enrollment package at the office.
Students will use photographs and movies
to create slide shows and movies of family and current subjects of

Program
The objectives of William
Innovators are to provide extraordinary science, technology,
engineering, and mathematics (STEM) learning opportunities to
underserved and underachieving youth and young adults. It is especially
interested in students from groups underserved and underrepresented in
STEM and technology careers, including but not limited to those residing
in rural and economically disadvantaged communities. Today Foundation
developed and conducted pilot testing of the Williams Innovators’
approach and curricula during July 2008 in a rural setting (Jefferson,
Texas) and an inner city setting (Dallas, Texas).
The Winnovators program is the vision of Michael Williams, of the Texas
Railroad Commission.
Collins Academy & Education Center in partnership with the Today Foundation will be holding a summer session on Gaming, Animation and 3D Modeling at four locations in Texas.
